it's a lot of clicking.. usually for bejewled type games you can click and drag to move pieces which feels fluid, here it seems hard to swap pieces sometimes bc it likes to deselect or something. the monsters I send out never seem to do anything, it's hard to tell. cool game though

functional, which is a good start.
but it since it's endless and there's not a score counter it seems pointless. could be integrated with the newgrounds leaderboard system then. could be points for combos since it's pretty risky letting the bombs get close. um, the music was ok but the sound effect (1) was way too loud and grating and i muted the game bc of that. if there were more, it was drowned out by the shooting sfx.

Thank you so much for your response. I really need to get better at sound mixing and keeping the player engaged. A scoring system really would have helped.

too basic but it's a start. best of luck improving. the slidyness of the landing of a jump is annoying

functional but every level is the same, you move way too slow, there's nothing telling me that i'm not just looping since everything looks the same, doesn't help that it feels very zoomed in and cramped. you never get enough time to clear a level with bonus time. Like, it WORKS which is better than some can say, but like, it's too painful to play. best of luck improving

ok, yeah that's on me for not reading instructions, spacebar to run, that's fine. the walk speed could be it little faster still, just a touch. I stand by everything else though. the fireball shot should destroy crates in 1 hit as well as enemies since it's slower and apparently more powerful.

bro it's like, almost ok..
but this needs to be reformatted... quick. it's like you uploaded a webpage or something. left clicking makes you go forward which works, but it also highlights text and moves the whole window down while playing if you move it too far.
the control layout is terrible. seriously, try placing your fingers comfortably according to what they're supposed to be, it's impossible. thankfully, you don't need more than W to go forward and mouse. that's bc the turning radius is so small & the turn itself is so quick, you don't need to drift or break.
that said, it does work well, looks ok, but whatever format it's in needs to change first

nickybakes responds:

Thank you for taking the time to play the game and give feedback! I'm a bit confused/curious by your complaints about the controls, however. The game does not require you to hold left click to steer, you just need to move the mouse side to side, so it shouldn't be highlighting any text.

I'm also confused by your complaint about how placing your fingers comfortably is impossible. When I play the game, I place my right hand on the mouse, and left hand where the WASD keys are, with my left thumb on the space bar. I hold W with my left middle finger, and tap space to drift with my thumb. I also can press E to turn on auto-accelerate, so I don't have to hold W, and I just focus on tapping space. I rarely use the brake or mirror, but those can easily be pressed by pinky on shift and ring or middle finger on Q.

Please let me know how you were playing/controlling the game. The control scheme was comfortable for me when I designed the game, but I want to know how I can improve it for others. Thank you!

it just stays on Fog and Sea and can't advance

it's functional but very slow and boring. we don't need to see more generic brick breakers. try putting your own spin on it as you develop it. best of luck.

the music is way too fuckin loud man. functional game though, best of luck improving.

read my thoughts on the voting system in my post "Voting vs Quality" it's a bit rough but I think it says what I want to say. lets talk about it.
