space doesn't do anything.

cool, but as is typical of games that try to do the gameboy or gameboyesque frame, everything is way too small, zoomed in on the browser a ton and it's still small. just make the game normally instead of doing that cheesy nonsense. really, if you're going to go for the classic gameboy, make the game that greenish color, or at least black & white.
game works pretty good overall, but there are some small issues. I died going through a door once. there's a wall that you can partially go into but despite everything you can't do anything with it. maybe there's an item to do something there but idk. the ambient sound just stops entirely after a while. nothing to really worry about unless I die going thru a door again, just wanted to mention these things. encountered spikes, the hitbox is wack, seems to hit in front of your feet. I can cross them fine funny enough, but standing or walking near them seems buggy.
The gameboy look is an aesthetic choice meant to be retro inspired but also somewhat also modern looking, which is why there is no green filter and sprites have way more resolution. Will look into the issues you mentioned. Thanks for the feedback!
sometimes you spawn right next to an explosion, sometimes you spawn inside a box, not a clue what you're supposed to do at all. shooting seems completely useless it doesn't seem to destroy anything. needs a lot of work
Okay, game updated! You can test it if you want
(Previous answer:
Maybe seems really obvious to me that the objective is to get the item in the middle of the map to start the game bc i'm the creator of the game. Should i add something like a tutorial in the first run to know what you need to do or just a type of indication like a light? Idk, something like that added to my things-to-improve list.
About the bug of spawning right next to explosions or inside boxes, i'll try to solve that, things that happends when you develop a game with a random generated map lol.
Imma try solve all you said, ty! <3)
cool game, it would be a lot smoother if you could just click to the square adjacent to walk or click to a further one to pounce. very cumbersome to click walk, square, yes, walk, square, yes every time.
needs a lot of work
I will see which code I can use to upgrade the game.
die sponge fuckerbob
u tell him BRO
everything is way too small, like, you have a lot of negative space. it'd feel a lot better if things were more zoomed in on the board. text could also be slightly bigger but i think that's just an issue with the distance.
blue building up... what does it mean
You are right, this game was supposed to be played full screen. You may zoom-in using your browser (usually ctrl+mouse wheel).
Something blue above the buildings? You can reveal hints or the answer at the left side of the board, I don't want to spoil it here.
opening doors with A does not work.
but you need to upload more than this. make a more complete game and submit that. best of luck
This game is for testing the compatibility of html5 games on xbox one. it's not a serious game.
cool, but kinda choppy and really dark (hard to see)
put some more work into this and it'll be quite good
Thanks...yes I added the lighting (or rather darkening) but probably could do with making it a bit brighter.
the best flick club player.
read my thoughts on the voting system in my post "Voting vs Quality" it's a bit rough but I think it says what I want to say. lets talk about it.
