alright but the difficulty spike is absolutely insane
maybe some way to get hp back? 1 hp for every 1000pts might be reasonable.

you walk in a room, get some music notes, and that's it. even as a demo it doesn't demo anything about what the full game might be. you can't go through the door either even though it cracks open when you stand near it.
no sound either, in a supposedly music based game? cmon man

nice work, all around everything is pretty good. too short tho
level editor says A/D to swap but it doesn't do anything

Oops, everything in the level editor uses cursor. I forgot to edit the UI
Edit: UI updated

i get the idea
but the game is way too dark, I get to the end of the first hallway with the 2nd dash and... that's it? seems you can only dash horizontally so i can't go up.
game also randomly lags, may be my comp but idk. restart should really be R instead of X, it's just awkward to hit X.w
the directional hits work well, no complaints there. the style and effects look good (from what is actually visible)
but yeah, you get the 2nd dash and can seemingly go nowhere, what am I missing here?

Facundo-Llamosas responds:

That's weird, you should be able to dash vertically while holding w/s.

among us

idk what to tell you honestly, everything is random and kinda hard to make out. you jump thru a portal and go up stairs. then you walk thru some more portals, end up in space. then the game ends with no indication you've got there. it's just a mess with no point.
the aesthetic is pretty good for somebody at your level but the art itself is still messy. functions well enough, nothing wrong with it there.

space doesn't do anything.

cool, but as is typical of games that try to do the gameboy or gameboyesque frame, everything is way too small, zoomed in on the browser a ton and it's still small. just make the game normally instead of doing that cheesy nonsense. really, if you're going to go for the classic gameboy, make the game that greenish color, or at least black & white.
game works pretty good overall, but there are some small issues. I died going through a door once. there's a wall that you can partially go into but despite everything you can't do anything with it. maybe there's an item to do something there but idk. the ambient sound just stops entirely after a while. nothing to really worry about unless I die going thru a door again, just wanted to mention these things. encountered spikes, the hitbox is wack, seems to hit in front of your feet. I can cross them fine funny enough, but standing or walking near them seems buggy.

HapPie responds:

The gameboy look is an aesthetic choice meant to be retro inspired but also somewhat also modern looking, which is why there is no green filter and sprites have way more resolution. Will look into the issues you mentioned. Thanks for the feedback!

the best flick club player.
read my thoughts on the voting system in my post "Voting vs Quality" it's a bit rough but I think it says what I want to say. lets talk about it.
real ones have square frames.
