also, the controls are a bit close together, ijkl would be a bit less awkward than tfgh.
instead of Z to drop a bomb just make it spacebar.

and make sure we can actually play the game bc I waited some time thinking it just needed to load but pressing enter still doesn't work

touching the lava should restart the game. there should be title screen and stage introduction. just dropping you into a game weird.
but I gotta say, the animation on the pink slime monster is unreasonably good.

I like the style, but the game itself is a bit basic. the monitor and health bar covers way too much of the screen. if this were a longer game it would be a serious problem. at first I thought it was a building you could walk into or something until it kept moving away from me haha.

you move quite slow, when stars are far apart it's painful trying to get to all of them. it's even more noticeable when the boss can 1-hit you.
some damage indicator on the boss would be nice, either an hp bar or he flashes for a second or something.
some sfx and music could be nice.

no explanation but once you lose once, it's intuitive.

I like it for what it is. mechanics are a little weird to get used to since it seems like you can't always go up a tile but once you figure it out it's fun
