this is very short, fast paced, and moderately annoying. for your first beat, it's not bad, my friend made some that were worse than this and he's doin real good now. so keep trying! I can't really help much as i don't know how to make beats.

a 40 second long intro is too long though, and this needs more, not enough substance, too liquidy than chunky if you get what i'm sayin. kinda sounds like background music for a shop in a game. Not bad.

This just needs more depth, it's more of a Muzak type deal. No offense there. It just needs something more than a solo. but you do say it's a sample, so there is great potental here. I'd say that if something about the same softness of the beat can lead into this and then put a little bit more power in the outtro, it'll be a 10. Very nice.
